Analysis on Lubrication Performance of Piston Ring-Cylinder Liner based on Numerical Simulation

چکیده

Abstract This paper mainly studies the tribological performance of friction pairs and poor lubrication during piston movement. Based on average Reynolds equation comprehensively considering variable viscosity density characteristics lubricating oil, a transient hydrodynamic model ring-cylinder liner pair is established. By solving established model, oil film thickness value, value other parameters that can characterize throughout cycle are obtained, whilst revealing surface roughness, ring barrel height. And influence mechanism presented basis previous analysis. The research shows improving roughness will help to improve lubrication, increasing reduce peak at top dead centre rings texture caused by fluid shear effect in high-speed region.
